Spoken word and dance performance that explores how climate change affects us emotionally, mentally, and socially. Through movement and poetry, the piece reflects climate anxiety, loss, resilience, and our relationship with the environment, telling climate stories through lived human experience rather than statistics. The piece features Scar Poetry, the 2024 Slam Africa Women’s Slam Champion, alongside a contemporary dance ensemble. We premiered the performance in December at the Elevate Minds Festival: Climate of the Mind at 3Zero House, Lavington, where it received strong audience engagement and reflection.
